LOTUS CLUB REVS UP FOR GOGODRAGONS ! The East Anglia Lotus Club is to provide a display of Member's Lotus cars outside The Forum in Norwich on Sunday 7th June. The Jim Clark Lotus Day duration is from 10 a.m until 4 p.m. for public viewing and will receive website and other publicity by the EALC and The Forum. There will be 2 display areas available for pre-determined Members' Lotus cars. Due to its specific nature, regrettably this is not an open event for other Members' Lotuses to be displayed. There will also be a separate Club area for membership and public enquiries, merchandise sales etc. All Members are encouraged to support the Club and the occasion and offers to assist will be appreciated. To enhance the display, Classic Team Lotus is bringing a suitable Lotus racing car to celebrate 50 years since Jim Clark's famous 1965 Indianapolis win. In addition there will be an 'Indy' GoGoDragon adorned in the theme of the Indy-winning car complete with helmet, exhaust pipes and Lotus livery! The artwork for the 'Indy GoGoDragon' theme is courtesy of Club Member Owen Wright who is creating his dragon as part of Norwich's forthcoming GoGoDragons! festival. The Indy GoGoDragon will be unveiled to the public on the day. We understand the event will be covered by the press and TV. 2015 also celebrates 40 years since the introduction of the Esprit and 20 years since the first Elise was produced.
